\nThe APS Conference for Undergraduate Women and Gender Minorities in Physics<\/span><\/a>, or CU*iP, is a conference intended for undergraduate physics majors. The goal of <\/span>APS CU*iP<\/span> is to help undergraduate women and gender minorities continue in physics by providing them with the opportunity to experience a professional conference, information about graduate school and professions in physics, and access to peers in physics of all ages with whom they can share experiences, advice, and ideas. The national and local organizing committees of APS CU*iP strive to create a welcoming environment for all.<\/span><\/p>\nFor almost two decades, CU*iP has helped undergraduates thrive in physics by providing them a with a unique opportunity to engage with and learn from other women and gender minorities in physics at all stages of their physics careers. At CU*iP, budding physicists will experience a professional conference, learn about graduate school, learn about academic and non-academic professions in physics, and share invaluable experiences, advice, and ideas with others. Undergraduate students (18 years and over) are eligible to apply and register for the conference.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/wpcdn.web.wsu.edu\/wp-events\/uploads\/sites\/2423\/2024\/07\/cuwip_timeline-396x75.png\")

We are so excited to bring CU*iP to Washington State University in January 2025! Go Cougs!<\/p>\n
Applications are now closed – decisions will be emailed on Nov 12th.<\/h4>\n

In order to maximize the number of CU*iP participants we can accommodate, we will allocate participants to sites based on travel logistics and site capacity. Please do not purchase travel tickets or plan to be at a specific site until you receive an email confirming you have been accepted to a specific CU*iP site.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\nApplications are open from August 26 – October 23, 2024.<\/p>\n
