DESCRIPTION:Trymaine Gaither is currently the Coordinator for the Mindfulness-Based Emotional and Social Intelligence (MESI) Certificate for Washington State University Honors College where he works to train students in mindfulness, self-awareness, self-management, empathy and compassion.  A native of Charlotte, North Carolina; Trymaine Gaither has been an activist and community leader for over 15 years.  He is founder of Making Men Mentoring, a program that matched young men in at-risk areas to quality mentors. Trymaine also served as an appointed Board Member of Mecklenburg County Community Relations Committee from 2012-2016.\n\nTrymaine attended North Carolina Agricultural &amp; Technical State University with a major in Business Management. When Trymaine is not contemplating how to pay back his student loans, he spends his time exploring the Pacific Northwest with his wife Sophia and five-year-old son, Noah.
