DESCRIPTION:Service animals and emotional support animals can help people with disabilities and chronic illnesses in a number of ways. However, they are not the only people to benefit from the love and companionship of animals. During this presentation, we will discuss the history of service animals and emotional support animals in providing much needed services to the disability community, we will also discuss how animals in general can provide meaning, support, and motivation to your own lives. We hope that during the last hour, participants will introduce their furry family members to participants and we can share stories of how these furry family members helped change our lives. All are welcome!
