DESCRIPTION:As part of LGBTQ+ History Month, the Gender Identity/Expression and Sexual Orientation Resource Center (GIESORC) is hosting a system-wide workshop that examines the relationship between race, privilege, and identity, including sexuality and gender. The workshop will be facilitated by Dr. Lisa Guerrero, Professor of Comparative Ethnic Studies and American Studies and Culture.\n\nAll WSU students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend. Register at this link.\n\nIn the workshop, Dr. Guerrero will lead an in-depth discussion on race, privilege, and identity and how they operate in systems. The workshop will close with a conversation about allyship and how to put what you’ve learned into action.
