DESCRIPTION:\n\nFour colorful and exciting outdoor murals created through an innovative collaboration between WSU artists and chemists will be dedicated to Kamiak Elementary School and the surrounding community on Monday, Oct. 21, at 4 p.m. on the new school’s playground at 1400 NW Terre View Dr., Pullman.\n\nMembers of the mural team of students and faculty will briefly describe the educational project and answer questions about the art and chemistry involved in the paintings’ design and creation, particularly the thermochromic features that make two of the murals interactive by their sensitivity to temperature changes, including from human touch.\n\nCheck WSU Insider for more details about this dynamic project and join the fun by putting your hand print on these unique murals.\n\n
