DESCRIPTION:Come design, construct, and race a canoe made of concrete! The ASCE concrete canoe competition includes a presentation in front of a panel, competitive racing, and canoe testing portion. Throughout the course of the academic year, we design the canoe hull and concrete mix design according to a set of rules that are released in the fall of each year. In addition, we create a presentation, engineering notebook, and report on our design and construction process.
