We will meet on Wednesday, February 5th from 5:00-6:00 PM to discuss February’s book choice: “The Prophets” by Robert Jones Jr. Open to all WSU Global students, staff, and alumni.\n\nFebruary Book Choice: “The Prophets " by Robert Jones Jr.\n\n"The Prophets" by Robert Jones Jr. is a powerful and lyrical novel that delves into the deep bond between two enslaved men, Samuel and Isaiah, on a Southern plantation. Their profound connection becomes a source of solace and strength against the brutal realities of slavery. However, their relationship is threatened as they become the focus of fear and betrayal among their fellow slaves. Jones masterfully intertwines African mythology with the harsh historical context, crafting a haunting narrative about love, resilience, and the enduring fight for freedom. This novel is a beautiful and tragic testament to the human spirit's capacity to transcend even the darkest circumstances.\n\nSpecial Offer: The first five S&A fee-paying global students to register by January 10th will receive a FREE hard copy of the book.\n\nQuestions?
