DESCRIPTION:The topic of this Boeing Speaking Series is to help future leaders discover individual leadership styles and discuss how to best apply that style to enable high functioning teams.\n\nSpeaker Bio:\n\nMegan Smith is a Commercial Director for The North America Sales team. Her team is responsible for managing the relationships with all of Boeing’s airline customers in the United States and Canada.\n\nPrior to joining the Sales organization, Megan held several leadership positions within the Marketing organization. She has served as a senior manager for airplane product analysis and well as senior manager of commercial regional marketing supporting the services portfolio. Megan’s teams were responsible for all commercial marketing campaign activity for customers across the globe.\n\nPreviously, Megan served as sales program manager of the Commercial Services Sales team in the Europe region. She developed sales strategies, built internal alignment in support of campaigns, and communicated the value proposition of Boeing’s products and services to our customers.\n\nMegan has also served as a strategy integration analyst where she partnered with sales, marketing, business development, airplane programs, and services business units to create opportunities, analyze alternatives and build recommendations for BCA’s leaders. Her first position within the Boeing Company was as a customer training specialist, introducing new fleet types to airlines and supporting them throughout the Entry-Into-Service period. Her roles have taken her around the globe working closely with Boeing’s customers ensuring they maintain preference for the company’s products and services. Before joining Boeing in 2006, Megan worked for Alaska Airlines in their Inflight department.\n\nMegan holds a Bachelor’s of Economics from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and a Master of Business Administration from Washington State University (WSU).\n\nRegister via Handshake Today!\n\n&nbsp;\n\n
