Group Sessions
- 30 minutes
- Open to all WSU students
- Capped at 50 participants, so please register for employer sessions prior to the event
One-on-One Appointments
- 10 minutes
- Employers will pre-select some students for one-on-one sessions. Be sure to upload your resume to Handshake prior to the event by October 1st.
How to Prepare for Virtual Career Fairs
Preparation and follow-up the keys to a successful job fair experience. Here is a checklist to help you get prepared:
- Research the list of participating employers through Handshake
- Attend career workshops offered through the ASCC prior to the fair
- Have your resume reviewed during ASCC drop in hours Monday-Friday 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
- Prepare your 30 second introduction
- Dress professionally for the virtual fairs and upload your resume to Handshake
- Look employers up on LinkedIn
