DESCRIPTION:Getting ready for the Career Expo or updating your LinkedIn profile? Thanks to the WSU Alumni Association and the Academic Success and Career Center, Cougs will have access to high-quality headshots with customizable virtual backgrounds whether they're on campus or joining virtually! A great headshot is often the first step in making a strong impression, and now you can get yours with ease, no matter your location.\n\nRegistration\n\n\n\n 	Current students can register using the Handshake platform\n\n 	Alumni registration will be available through the WSU Alumni Association\n\n\n\nWhat to Expect (In-Person):\n\n\n\n 	No appointment needed – just drop in during the event window at Lighty Student Services Building 180\n\n 	Quick and easy photo session using our PopCam station\n\n 	Photos will be emailed to you immediately after your session\n\n\n\nWhat to Expect (Virtual):\n\n\n\n 	Access our virtual headshot platform from anywhere on our event date (instructions will be sent day-of the event)\n\n 	Use your device’s camera to take a high-quality photo\n\n 	Choose from a variety of professional virtual backgrounds\n\n 	Photos will be emailed to you immediately after your session\n\n\n\nSuggested attire:\n\n\n\n 	Dress in smart casual or business casual attire – think solid colors, clean lines, and minimal patterns. You want your look to be polished and confident, just like you would for an interview or networking event. We will also have items from the Cougar Closet that you can use if joining in-person.\n\n\n\nThanks to the WSU Alumni Association and the new Cougs Connect platform, we’re helping Cougs look their best as they prepare to connect with employers!\n\nAbout the Career Expo Prep Series\n\nHosted by the Academic Success and Career Center, the Career Expo Prep Series offers a lineup of career-building workshops and events designed to help Cougs prepare for both the Virtual Career Expo and the In-Person Career Expo & Technical Fair. From resume reviews with recruiters to interview strategies and salary negotiation tips, this series covers a wide range of topics to help you confidently take the next step in your career journey.\n\n
