DESCRIPTION:Joseph Valacich, cofounder of Neuro-ID, a company providing behavioral analytics to combat online fraud, boost conversion rates, and enhance customer experiences, will present “Agile, Lean Startup, and Hard Lessons: Advice in Technology Development” at the Carson College of Business’s inaugural Hubman Distinguished Lecture Series.\n\nThe event is free and open to all WSU students and the WSU community.\n\nValacich is a distinguished scholar, tech entrepreneur, and educational innovator specializing in human-computer interaction. When he was at WSU, he was the very first to be named the George and Carolyn Hubman Distinguished Professor in Management Information Systems. Today he serves as the Muzzy Endowed Chair and professor of management systems in the Eller College at the University of Arizona. He has published more than 100 academic articles, coauthored leading computing textbooks, and played key roles in developing online education programs at WSU and the University of Arizona.\n\n
