DESCRIPTION:CAH has organized a seminar series to support first-generation graduate students at WSU. The objective of this series is to provide first-gen grad students with a space where they can share the challenges that they are facing in graduate school. In addition, these meetings will help the first-gen students from various departments at WSU build a community across disciplines.\n\nTopic: Writing Resources\n\nSpeakers:\n\nElizabeth Siler, Scholarly Assistant Professor, Dept of English,\n\nDr. Jacqueline Wilson, Assistant Professor, School of Music,\n\nAmy Whitcomb, Graduate Writing Center, WSU,\n\nJessie Padilla, PhD Student, Dept of English.\n\nIf a first-gen graduate student is interested in participating in this seminar, please contact arts.humanities@wsu.edu\n\nSince we provide dinner for our participants, we would appreciate it if students interested in attending emailed us before noon (12:00 pm) on Friday (2/3). Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.
