DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our annual Bacterial Pathogenesis Symposium sponsored by Duke’s Center for Host-Microbial Interactions (CHoMI) and organized by graduate students. Given the current global pandemic, the meeting will take place virtually on Tuesday, October 6th, at 1:00 p.m. EDT. Registered guests will receive a zoom link for access to the meeting the day before the symposium.\n\nOur invited speakers are Aimee Shen and Bree Aldridge from Tufts University, Victor Nizet from UC San Diego, and Leigh Knodler from Washington State University. In addition to our invited speakers' presentations, we will have Flash Talks from trainees, and at the end we invite you to stick around for a virtual social event.\n\n
