DESCRIPTION:Like exam questions, education research survey questions need to be thoughtfully selected and written to enable accurate measurement. This interactive workshop will address key principles for designing robust education research surveys based on quantitative items. We will also discuss tips and tricks for writing and presenting survey questions to reduce measurement error.\n\nDr. Susan Matthew is a veterinarian with a PhD focused on veterinary education. Originally from Sydney, Australia, Dr. Matthew is now Professor of Veterinary Medical Education and Director of the Teaching Academy for the College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University. Dr. Matthew’s research portfolio includes investigating veterinarian resilience, clinic-based learning, and competency-based veterinary education using qualitative and mixed methods research methods.\n\n&nbsp;
