Cleo Parker Robinson Dance presents “MictlanRx”

Cleo Parker Robinson Dance uses the language of movement to honor African American heritage and explore the human condition.

Performed with the donkey jawbone, a traditional Afro-Mexican instrument, “MictlanRx” offers a powerful reflection on Mexico’s Afro-Indigenous people and their unique cycles of oppression and triumph through cultural heritage and tradition.

Tickets may be purchased in advance at all TicketsWest outlets, including online at, by phone at 800-325-SEAT (800-325-7328), and at the Beasley Coliseum ticket office (normal hours are Mon-Fri 10-2; closes for WSU holidays and semester breaks). Convenience charges apply to advance sales at all locations except Beasley. The Daggy Hall box office will open 2 hours before the performance for will-call and ticket sales (subject to availability).

Free tickets for WSU students may be picked up in advance only at the Beasley Coliseum ticket office with valid ID.
