He regularly teaches courses on motivation, personality, self-control, and gender. He also heads the Anxiety, Stress, and Coping Lab, where he and his research assistants conduct research on the use of cannabis for stress management, including the short- and long-term viability of such practices, and the motives behind and consequences of technology use for forming social relationships.
