This presentation discusses what Black disabled resistance looks & sounds like through time. This presentation will go into ancestry stories, today’s Krip-Hop stories, and cultural work worldwide through book readings, songs, visual arts, videos and podcasts.

Bio: This presentation is hosted by activist, writer, poet, rapper, womanist, and radio programmer, Leroy Moore. Leroy founded Krip-Hop Nation (a movement that addresses ableism, or discrimination against disabled artists, esp. Black musicians marginalized because of racism AND ableism internationally). Magazine, and since the 1990s, has written the column “Illin-N-Chillin” for POOR Magazine. He is also a longtime member of the National Black Disability Coalition.
