SUMMARY:ESIC-AGI FA22 Seminar Series: Advances in Software for Wide-Area Situational Awareness with Time-Series Data
LOCATION:Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Building
DESCRIPTION:Energy Systems Innovation Center and Advanced Grid Institute will present Advances in Software for Wide-Area Situational Awareness with Time-Series Data by Dr. Greg Zweigle, from SEL.\n\nOVERVIEW\n\nWhat does production-quality time-series (including synchrophasors) software for power system operations and data analytics do and look like? Come find out.\n\nBIO\n\nDr. Gregary C. Zweigle is an R&D Fellow Engineer at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. (SEL) and leads a research team to develop wide-area power system analysis and control solutions. He holds a PhD in electrical engineering and computer science, a master’s degree in chemistry, and a master’s degree in electrical engineering. All three are from Washington State University. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from Northwest Nazarene University.
