DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\nJulie Wieck, soprano and Karen Savage, piano\n\n \n\nWe Are America,” includes songs that represent the history and diversity of experiences that make up our United States.  Among the Americans depicted in song will be settlers, Native Americans, cowboys, slaves, soldiers and immigrants through the music of such composers as Aaron Copland, Libby Larsen, John Kander, Charles Ives, and Irving Berlin.  Karen Savage will collaborate on piano.\n\n \n\n \n\nProceeds from ticket sales in the series benefit the School of Music Scholarship Fund. Tickets, on sale one hour before performances in the lobby, cost $10 general admission, $5 senior citizens (55+) and non-WSU students and free for WSU students with ID.
