DESCRIPTION:Music of the British Isles will fill Bryan Hall with a diverse array of solo, duet and small ensemble vocal music spanning over 500 years.  Cantiamo!, the WSU Faculty Vocal Ensemble, will be presenting their fifth annual concert on Friday, January 26 at 8:00 p.m. in Bryan Hall Theatre.  This ensemble is comprised of Julie Anne Wieck (soprano), Lori Wiest (mezzo-soprano), Brian Carter (tenor), and Dean Luethi (baritone).  The singers have compiled a program of beautiful vocal repertoire composed by such composers as Morley, Purcell, Howells, Britten, Vaughan Williams, Finzi and Walton.  They will be joined on stage by several other WSU faculty members, including Michael Seregow, piano and Jill Schneider, organ.\n\n \n\nAll proceeds from the sale of tickets will benefit the School of Music Scholarship Fund.  Tickets will be on sale at the door thirty minutes before the performance:  General Admission - $10.00; Senior Citizens and Non-WSU Students - $5; WSU Students with ID – Free!
