Laura Kaminsky, a New York-based composer writes about meditations in traffic, while Thea Musgrave takes on the Greek myth of mourning Niobe. Ingrid Stoetzel's offering is a trio for flute, oboe and piano titled "There are Things to Be Said", and Israeli-based composer Amit Weiner focuses on structures (gates, specifically) found in old Jerusalem. The program will be an hour in length, and features oboist Keri McCarthy, pianists Karen Savage and Michael Seregow, and Sophia Tegart on flute.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFaculty Artist Series: Proceeds from ticket sales in the series benefit the School of Music Scholarship Fund. Tickets, on sale one hour before performances in the lobby, cost $10 general admission, $5 senior citizens (55+)and non-WSU students and free for WSU students with ID.\n\n\n\n\n\n
