DESCRIPTION:A celebration of community and ecological restoration along Missouri Flat Creek near Downtown Pullman in a landscape transformed by native plants, music, and poetry. Featuring musical works by faculty and students in WSU’s School of Music and poems created by the Department of English and EcoArts on the Palouse. A brief welcome and Land Acknowledgement for these traditional homelands of the Nimiipuu and Peluuc will begin each event, then all are invited to move freely about the site, listening to music and lending their voices to reading the poems featured on botanical signage during the two-hour performance.\n\n “Plants are the first restoration ecologists.
