SUMMARY:Innovating in Curriculum Through Hands-on Learning and Varied Assignments
LOCATION:Animal Disease Biotech Facility (ADBF), 1855 E GRIMES WAY, Pullman, WA 99164
DESCRIPTION:College of Veterinary Medicine Teaching Academy\n\nSummer Tool Kit Series format\n\n\n\n Mini workshops are open to faculty, residents, and graduate students from the College of Veterinary Medicine and across the WSU.\n\n Our model: these workshops are intended to be active learning sessions. Each topic/idea will be introduced, and then the participants will  engage, interact, and sometimes begin to create a product.\n\n Practically, we hope that participants will come away from each session with 1 or 2 take-home lessons they might apply to their own teaching.\n\n\n\n\n\nFirst in the summer 2024 series:\n\nInnovating in Curriculum Through Hands-on Learning and Varied Assignments\n\nPresented by Jonathan Manwaring, Assistant Director, Learning Innovations, WSU Global Campus\n\nCollaboratively discuss class assignments and demonstrate how they may be fulfilled in different ways by leveraging technology.
