DESCRIPTION:The WSU Department of Fine Arts is pleased to announce two new exhibitions this month.\n\nIn Gallery 2, Joe Hedges, painting and intermedia professor, will be showing a new body of innovative intermedia art works, sponsored by the WSU New Faculty Seed Grant. These “hyper combines” combine oil painting and new media objects such as flat screen televisions and tablets. These works obfuscate the physical and conceptual boundaries between media to make comments on specific challenges of the digital age.
