DESCRIPTION:The Northwest Rural Opioid Technical Assistance Collaborative presents our monthly webinar series.\n\nAccess to OUD/SUD and associated supportive services can be challenging and often problematic due to stigma associated with existing practice. Community pharmacies represent an untapped resource to expand entry points, decrease delays in treatment, enhance collaboration among providers and increase support for patients.\n\nPresenters: Tyler Hemsley, PharmD and Alice Knotts, PharmD\n\nObjectives:\n\n\n\n 	Discuss current state for OUD/SUD services including detox, MAT, recovery and harm reduction strategies in the region.\n\n 	Identify at least 3 barriers that currently exist (access points, provider shortage, stigma, no standard workflows)\n\n 	Illustrate the untapped potential in community pharmacies based on recent legislation and scope of practice\n\n 	Provide innovative examples of how community pharmacies are engaging in OUD/SUD services\n\n
