Floyd College of Medicine, Washington State University\n\nSummary:\n\nThis presentation provides an overview of evidence synthesis methods, tailored for medical education professionals. Attendees will learn about six different types of reviews, including systematic, scoping, narrative, and integrative reviews, among others. The session will also guide participants in creating a realistic timeline for completing their chosen review type, considering key milestones and challenges. Additionally, the presentation will walk through the steps of developing an evidence synthesis protocol, ensuring a structured approach from inception to completion. By the end, participants will have the tools and knowledge to confidently begin their own reviews.\n\nObjectives:\n\nThis session will focus on types of systematic reviews. Participants will be able to:\n\n1. List six different types of evidence synthesis (reviews)\n\n2. Outline a realistic timeline for review completion\n\n3.
