DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a QUICK opening celebration of our next SDC Gallery Exhibition: "TAKE A SEAT: HISTORICAL INSPIRATION IN CONTEMPORARY CHAIR DESIGN"\n\nThis dynamic new exhibit showcases 100+ models of seating designs created by students in SDC 250 Global History of Design I.  Students researched contextual, conceptual, and aesthetic aspects of an ancient or early culture, then designed a contemporary seating piece incorporating these influences.\n\nThe results range from elegant to whimsical, delicate to monumental!\n\nOur reception will include a brief award ceremony and great snacks - hope you can join us!\n\n \n\n
