DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a presentation by Arghavan Talebanpour on &quot;An evaluation of helmet test standards in predicting brain injury.&quot; This talk will focus on brain injuries, one of the major health concerns in sports, and how to prevent sports related head injuries by protection systems that are improved and optimized. Ms. Talebanpour is a Ph.D. Mechanical Engineering candidate in the School of Mechanical &amp; Materials Engineering at Washington State University. She received her Masters and Bachelor&#039;s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shiraz University in Iran.
