DESCRIPTION:Students in the Songwriting II course at the WSU School of Music will be presenting a showcase of their original compositions focusing on topics of protest and social commentary. Students studied the historical context of protest music, and how it relates to modern social movements and modern songwriting. Special thanks to the WSU Recording Studio and Dave Bjur for his support recording and mixing some of the songs.
