DESCRIPTION:What new knowledge are undergraduate researchers adding to their fields?  Find out at the 2018 Showcase for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (SURCA), where more than 250 of them will present posters detailing their mentored work . Freshmen through seniors from every major and discipline, and campus, are eligible to submit abstracts to participate. Topics this year range from interactions between dairy cows and wild birds to north African terrorism, from marijuana and pregnant women to developing new air quality sensors, from degradation behavior of 3D printed gellan gum scaffolds to what makes us human, and every subject in between and beyond. Prizes in 8 categories will be awarded starting at 5:00 p.m. in CUB Aud. Free and open to the public. Final event in WSU Showcase Week.
