DESCRIPTION:The WSU Symphonic Band and Symphonic Wind Ensemble concert provides a unique experience for our audience as we welcome Dr. Ruth Boden (cello) as a soloist with the Symphonic Band, along with the WSU soprano/alto choir conducted by Dr. Chris Nakielski. The second half of the concert welcomes guest conductors Angelina Gomez, Zhongyun Luo (Guangzhou University), and Dr. Jeremy Brown (University of Calgary). Dr. Brown is a WSU graduate, and will also be a featured soloist performing a new saxophone concerto by Grammy award nominated composer (for classical music), Kenneth Fuchs.\n\nThis concert is open to the public and without charge.
