DESCRIPTION:CONCERT PROGRAM\n\nThe WSU School of Music welcomes renowned conductor Ray Cramer to campus from November 18-21, 2019. Professor Cramer is widely regarded as one of the most respected wind conductors in the entire world. He has conducted throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia, and has authored several books on conducting and wind literature. The WSU Symphonic Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band will perform their second concert of the semester on the evening of Thursday, November 21, 2019. Each group has programmed works that are meaningful to Maestro Cramer, as he will guest conduct the Symphonic Wind Ensemble in concert. Works include pieces by Kevin Walczyk, Ryan George, Julie Giroux, and Gustav Holst.\n\nThis concert is open to the public and without charge.\n\nSPONSORED BY ALLEGRO. Allegro is an umbrella Registered Student Organization that represents all music student organizations at Washington State University. Allegro aims to excite and inspire through music by partnering with student organizations to provide funding for world-renowned guest artists to perform and work one-on-one with students on the Pullman campus. Allegro receives generous funding from the Associated Students of Washington State University.\n\n
