DESCRIPTION:CONCERT PROGRAM\n\nJoin the WSU Symphony Orchestra as they present their first concert of the 2019-2020 academic year. They will be performing a concert featuring orchestral favorites, as well as a tuba concerto by Barbara York. Duncan Titus, Co-Winner of last year's WSU Concerto/Aria Competition, will be the evening's featured soloist. Repertoire also include Jean Sibelius's "Finlandia" conducted by graduate student Angelina Gomez, and Arturo Marquez's "Danzon No. 2". The orchestra's conductor is Dr. Danh Pham.\n\n
