About Dr. Chris Vieira
Dr. Christopher Vieira has worked in both K-12 and Higher Education over the last decade. He received his BA and Single Subject Teaching Credential in English, an MA in Teaching, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Fresno State. Dr. Vieira developed distance learning programs for the high school credit recovery and adult education programs at Fresno’s Cesar Chavez Adult School. He has taught online courses for high school and lectured at Fresno State on Planning & Implementing Technology Programs for the Kremen School of Education and University 1 courses for Undergraduate Studies. He is a certified Apple Foundations Trainer and served as the DISCOVERe Hub Manager and Interim Director of Academic Technology for Technology Innovations for Learning and Teaching (TILT).
Dr. Vieira proudly served on the President’s Commission on Human Relations and Equity (PCHRE), the Information and Educational Technology Coordinating Council (IETCC), Academic Information Technology (AIT) committee, and the Future High-Impact Practices, Remediation, and First Year Experience for Student Success Committees.
Dr. Vieira currently serves as the Development Executive for Higher Education in the Pacific Northwest at Apple, Inc. He continues to leverage the most engaging technology in the world to increase student success, enhance teaching and learning, and inspire educational leaders to create an innovative educational experience for faculty, staff, and students.
