DESCRIPTION:\n\nPresenters: Drs. Arno Werners and Jessica Bunch\n\nIn this interactive session, the 'why' and 'how' of pass-fail grading will be discussed. The presenters will cover the basic aspects of these grading systems and will invite participants to join in a dialogue addressing the pros and cons. We will also touch on competency-based grading, along with milestone progression through the clinical year, and best practices when providing passing, marginal, or failing grades.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe WSU College of Veterinary Medicine Teaching Academy is an inclusive community of educators enhancing their teaching, career development and scholarship.
