DESCRIPTION:The School of Design and Construction Distinguished Lecture series is proud to present Yekang Ko&#039;s &quot;Landscape for Humanity (L4H).&quot;\n\nThis award-winning design initiative was co-founded and currently led by Ko to design and build a multi-functional landscape system to engage social justice and to improve the conditions of vulnerable communities.\n\nKo is an Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Oregon.  Her research and teaching focus is on urban sustainability and climate action planning and design.  She is currently directing the undergraduate (BLA) program and the Sustainable Cities and Landscapes Hub of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU).
