DESCRIPTION:Bring your Dad to the SRC or Chinook for Free\n\nWSU students can bring their Dad (or Father figure) to the SRC or Chinook for Free.  Dad must be accompanied by the student member at the time of entrance.\n\nSpecial Events Weekend Passes\n\nThursday-Sunday Special Event Weekend Passes are available for purchase during all home football game weekends. These passes can be purchased at the Membership Services Desk in the Student Recreation Center or at the Chinook Student Center for $12.  Special Event Weekend Passes grant access to the SRC and Chinook.\n\nDad's Weekend FREE Fitness Fun\n\nNovember 2-4\n\nAlready registered for a fitness class with UREC? Bring your dad for FREE! In addition, we are also offering the following FREE activities:\n\n\n\n 	Dad's Bench Best! This easy 3.1 mile hike through the scenic landscapes of Kamiak Butte is sure to be an adventure that you will remember for years to come! This trip takes patrons to one of our county parks to overlook the entire Palouse and learn more about the ecosystem. Led by our trained staff, participants can expect to climb either our 72’ tall giant ladder or the obstacle course. Enjoy quality time with him at the Student Rec Center for a morning of Rock Climbing where our climbing wall supervisors will help you climb to the top! Do you want to participate in roped climbing in our facility? Bring your dad and learn to belay your partner, climb, and use our autobelay systems. You will have the opportunity at the end of the course to have your belay technique checked by the instructor so you can participate in roped climbing during facility hours.
