DESCRIPTION:Student Affairs, with the help of GPSA, is hosting two days of events to help you get over your winter blues! Join us on Jan. 28 for Mood for A Better Mood! and on Jan. 29 for Self-Care through Mindfulness &amp; Creative Expression.\n\nSelf-Care through Mindfulness &amp; Creative Expression\n\nWednesday, January 29, 5-8 p.m., Elson S Floyd Cultural Center\n\nWorkshop 1:  Mindfulness for a Restful Sleep\n\nESFCC knowledge rooms 113 &amp; 114\n\nFacilitators will provide knowledge and tips to address barriers to sleep, good sleep hygiene, and provide techniques to wind down and sleep better including mindfulness and/or yoga exercise, personal goals/journaling, and guided body scanning.\n\nWorkshop 2:  The Art and Craft of Storytelling\n\nESFCC knowledge rooms 111 &amp; 112\n\nFacilitators will provide prompts related to the season and WSU experience to help participants craft storytelling as a vehicle to honor and celebrate the diversity and commonality of human experience.\n\nWorkshop 3:  Mood Foods Cooking Class\n\nESFCC Demo Kitchen\n\nCertified Executive Chef Adam Koerner will lead participants in a cooking class demonstrating techniques to make main dish and dessert that students can cook for themselves with ingredients naturally high in vitamin D.  The meal prepared will be shared by all attendees\n\nDinner &amp; Dessert\n\nESFCC Living Room, 7-8 p.m.\n\nLive performances for all attendees.\n\nStorytelling from participants of the storytelling workshop  and stand-up comedy (Nuthouse Comedy).\n\nView event details for day 1.
