DESCRIPTION:This historic milestone, themed “Shining Together: Celebrating 50 Years for Collective Empowerment,” honors our legacy of uplifting marginalized voices and advancing gender equity while looking toward a radiant future.\n\nWe are thrilled to host an art exhibition and keynote with renowned artist Sophia Wallace, known for her groundbreaking project CLITERACY.\n\n\n\n 	Artist Keynote will begin at 4:15 p.m., followed by Q&A\n\n 	Showcase and Exhibit Tour: 5:30–7 p.m.\n\n\n\nSophia Wallace is a visionary artist who challenges societal taboos surrounding female sexuality, advocates for body sovereignty, and addresses the marginalization of female and queer bodies. Her powerful work — featured internationally and in major publications like The New York Times and The Guardian — will inspire and energize our celebration.\n\nThis event is free and open to all.\n\nZoom will be available for the keynote presentation: https://wsu.zoom.us/j/98207502941 (Webinar ID: 982 0750 2941) Participants must use an up-to-date version of the Zoom software to join.\n\nRadiant Resistance Exhibit\n\nWallace's artwork is available for viewing in CUE 302 through March 5. The exhibit is open to the public Monday- Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. with a closure between 12-1.\n\n \n\n
