DESCRIPTION:PROGRAM\n\nThe theme for the World Music Convocation is, "Rhythms of the Diaspora: Africa to America."\n\nWorld Music Day includes the following three events that will be open for anyone to attend:\n\nMonday, March 28, 9:10-10 am Black Music in America - Kimbrough Rm 346\n\nTuesday, March 29, 11 am  World Music Convocation - Kimbrough Concert Hall\n\nTuesday, March 29, 4:30 pm  Open Masterclass with Crimson Ties World Music Ensemble - Kimbrough Rm 115\n\nAll events open to the public!\n\nWorld Music Day events are sponsored by Allegro and by the Center for Arts and Humanities.\n\n\n\nSPONSORED BY ALLEGRO. Allegro is an umbrella Registered Student Organization that represents all music student organizations at Washington State University. Allegro aims to excite and inspire through music by partnering with student organizations to provide funding for world-renowned guest artists to perform and work one-on-one with students on the Pullman campus. Allegro receives generous funding from the Associated Students of Washington State University.\n\n
