DESCRIPTION:The WSU Center for Entrepreneurial Studies invites you to hear from industry experts and get practical help with your business plan during the Business Plan Competition Resource Night Speaker Series and Workshops.\n\nThis week you will hear from guest speaker Ryan Lantz, CFO, Valicoff Fruit Company, Inc. Ryan Lantz is the Chief Financial Officer of Valicoff Fruit Company, Inc. – a mid-sized, vertically integrated, tree fruit producer in the Yakima Valley. Before making the move into the agriculture industry, Ryan spent over ten years working in healthcare. Most recently, he was the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis for the Virginia Mason Memorial hospital system, where he designed, built, and led the FP&A team for the enterprise. Prior to Virginia Mason, Ryan worked for DaVita Inc., a Fortune 200 international healthcare company, in a variety of roles throughout corporate and operational finance as well as clinical operations. He earned his MBA and a BA in Finance from Washington State University and currently serves on the WSU Entrepreneurship Advisory Board.
