Faculty Artist Series: British Invasion, Music of the Great British Horns

About the event

In this concert, Dr. Martin King pays tribute to some of the greatest horn players who have ever lived, all of whom hail from the British Isles.  Barry Tuckwell, Dennis Brain, Michael Thompson, and Richard Watkins are all honored by Dr. King’s performance of a piece which each of these artists recorded in their careers.  The concert features music by Persichetti, Gounod, Rosetti, and Marais.

General Admission: $10   Sr. Citizens & non-WSU Students: $5
WSU Students with ID: FREE
All proceeds from the sales of tickets will benefit the School of Music scholarship fund. Tickets are available in the lobby thirty minutes before concert time.
