Faculty Artist Series: WSU Brass Quintet
About the event
Washington State University School of Music presents a concert featuring the WSU Brass Quintet, the Crimson Brass Trio, and five other School of Music Faculty. The WSU Brass Quintet will start the evening with a performance of Jan Koetsier’s Brass Quintet, Opus 65. The Crimson Brass Trio will follow with a performance of several trios by Frigyes Hidas and Anton Reicha. The second half of the concert will feature a performance of William Kraft’s Nonet for Brass and Percussion. The artists include David Turnbull, trumpet; Matthew Glover, trumpet; Martin King, horn; Sarah Miller, trombone; Christopher Dickey, tuba; Dave Jarvis, Scott Blasco, Troy Bennefield, & Brent Edwards, percussion; and Danh Pham, conductor.
General Admission: $10 Sr. Citizens & non-WSU Students: $5
WSU Students with ID: FREE
All proceeds from the sales of tickets will benefit the School of Music scholarship fund. Tickets are available in the lobby thirty minutes before concert time.
