In high-performance computing (HPC), scientific codes have been evolving continuously. Moving from numerical simulations and analyses to AI/ML-based applications, scientific codes execute on larger computational scales and issue massive data movements periodically for network communication and I/O at application runtime.

WSU, the Common Reading Program, and the Visiting Writers Series welcome Pulitzer Prize- winning poet Natalie Diaz for a reading. Diaz’s poem, “American Arithmetic,” appears as a selection in this year’s common reading book, Tales of Two Americas: Stories of Inequality in a Divided Nation, that is being used in first-year and other courses this year. She was awarded a Pulitzer Prize for poetry in 2021.
Tesla is actively looking for Summer through Fall and Fall through Spring co-ops with hundreds of opportunities posed on Handshake and our career page. Extended co-ops are a priority focus for the H+CE teams, so looking to build a stronger pipeline with co-op strongholds in the US + Canada. They will be hosting some professional development sessions (compared to individual school events) to provide pointers on the application and consideration process in the core of spring recruiting season.
