About the event

This year marks a powerful milestone: the 50th anniversary of the Talmadge Anderson Heritage House, the foundation of what has become the African American Student Center. What began as a research hub dedicated to preserving and promoting African American culture and history has grown into a vibrant space of connection, support, and empowerment for students across our WSU community.

To honor this legacy, we invite you, and all members of our community, to join us for a series of celebratory events, culminating in a special banquet where we will pay tribute to the enduring impact of Dr. Talmadge Anderson. His vision and leadership helped shape this center into a welcoming space for generations of Cougs.
