About the event
Connect with the Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) on the 9/11 National Day of Service to honor the lives lost and the heroism of first responders by transforming a day of tragedy into a day of unity, service, and community strength.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
- 10:00-10:10 am. Meet at the Ground Floor Reunion in the CUB (Ground Floor across from Cougar Card Center).
- 10:10-10:30 am: Transporation to the site of the project – vans will be leaving promptly at 10:10 am.
- 10:30-11:30 am: Participate in the community service project
- 11:30-11:50 am: Transportation back to the CUB.
Specific project details will be available when you check-in for the project on September 11. Be sure to dress for the weather and wear supportive shoes as projects could be outdoors.
