In this Foley Distinguished Lecture, Nobel Prize winning Professor Sir Angus Deaton will be covering his most recent work Deaths of Dispair and the Future of Capitalism, published by Princeton University Press in 2020.

Professor Sir Angus Deaton is the Dwight D. Eisenhower Professor of Economics and International Affairs at Princeton University. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in Economic Sciences in 2015.

His research areas include the study of poverty, inequality, health, wellbeing, and economic development, and his most recent book, with Anne Case, is Deaths of Despair and the Future of Capitalism, published by Princeton University Press in 2020.
