BioLunch – Dr. Ariel Leon, USGS researcher
Online
About the event
For the next BioLunch on Tues, Sept. 21, Dr. Ariel Leon will be joining us to talk about her research and her experience working at the USGS National Wildlife Health Center.
Ariel’s research interests include infectious disease ecology and immunology. Ariel is currently contributing to the effort to create a vaccine for bats against white-nose syndrome and Rabies virus. In addition to learning about her applied research, this should be a great opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about working for the USGS.
We will be starting a few minutes after 12 pm, so be sure to arrive before the usual 12:10 pm start time. Contact Ben Vernasco, ben.vernasco@wsu.edu for the Zoom details.
