The David G. Pollart Center for Arts and Humanities invites graduate students in Arts and Humanities to its roundtable titled “Equity and Inclusion in Higher Education.”

Rita Kumar and Brenda Refaei, professors in the Dept. of English and Communication at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College (UCBA), a regional campus, and editors of the Teaching Academy Book Club text for 2023 Equity and Inclusion in Higher Education will join us for this discussion.

Refaei is also co-director of the UCBA Learning and Teaching Center and Kumar is the former executive director of the UC Faculty Enrichment Center. They will discuss equity and inclusion in education with the graduate students in the Arts and Humanities and Education.

The roundtable will be moderated by Kara Whitman, Associate Director of Undergraduate Studies and Scholarly Associate Professor (Career Track), School of Environment and Chair of WSU Teaching Academy, and Ashley Boyd, Associate Professor in English at WSU and Vice-Chair of WSU Teaching Academy.
