Celebrate National First Gen Day on Nov. 8!

The First at WSU Student Center and partners around campus are celebrating National First Gen Day 2022 with the theme “Building Our Future,” focusing on laying the foundation for the ways WSU Pullman can support first-generation students during their Coug experience.

Students, faculty, and staff can learn more about first-gen Cougs and their unique needs at this year’s events, which include a webinar, keynote speaker, panel, and an open house. The open house, from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. in the First at WSU Student Center (CUB 410), will give students, faculty, and staff an opportunity to learn about first-gen programs at WSU, connect with First at WSU staff, and share first-gen experiences.
